“Bargaining & Acceptance” is an oil painting on canvas in the collection of artworks titled “Rituals for the Living” in which I use color and my signature faceless figures to create the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. This piece was made to represent the bargaining and acceptance stages. This metaphoric door is supposed to represent how grief and the process of grief isn’t linear because as humans our feelings aren’t linear because we are a constant mix of emotions.
